post one

i don't know why i am doing this. well, i do. but i'm afraid to sound too conceited on my very first blog post. i would hate for my [two] reader(s) to get the wrong idea. no, this post should be about how excited i am to start this blog and to catalogue my life. this post should be about how great this blog is going to be and what i plan on doing with it.

but secretly, what i'm really excited for is having a place to write my ideas and musings. is that vein? ah well. i'm going to write about whatever i feel constitutes a blog post. but let me tell you, my standards are pretty low. i will write about anything and everything. try not to worry though, i will do my best to keep the posts about how cute my dog is down to a minimum.
